Innai Nunha Faq
Welcome to Innai.
You are holding something made slowly, from leaves that have colored nails for generations. Take your time. We will walk you through every step.
First time with henna? Perfect. This guide was written for you.
A few minutes of preparation
Set aside about [45 to 60 minutes] where your hands can rest. Henna rewards patience, and this small ritual is part of its beauty.
Prepare:
- Clean, dry nails. Remove any polish or oil, then wash and dry your hands.
- A tissue or soft cloth nearby.
- A comfortable place to sit. Your nails will need to stay untouched while the color sets.
Tip: Trim and shape your nails first. The stain will follow the shape you give it.
Your First Application
Open the sachet or jar and prepare the paste.
Apply a generous, even layer over the entire nail. Do not worry about small touches on the skin. Henna is forgiving, and we will show you how to clean the edges.
Leave the paste on for [30 to 45 minutes]. The longer it rests, the deeper the color. This is a good moment to slow down. Let it work.
Gently wipe or rinse the paste away with [water or dry tissue]. Do not scrub.
Your nails will look [light orange] at first. This is exactly right. Over the next [24 to 48 hours], the color deepens into its true, rich shade.
The color takes its time
Fresh henna always starts light. Do not be alarmed if your nails look pale or orange right after removing the paste. This is how natural henna behaves.
- First hour: soft orange tone
- After 24 hours: noticeably deeper
- After 48 hours: the full, settled color
Natural henna does not behave like polish. Every set of nails takes the color slightly differently, and that is what makes yours entirely your own.
Making it last
With gentle care, your Innai stain lasts [2 to 4 weeks], fading gracefully as your nails grow.
- Avoid soaking your hands in water for the first [12 hours].
- Wear gloves when using cleaning products.
- A drop of natural oil on the nails now and then keeps the color warm.
The stain grows out with your nail. There is nothing to remove and nothing to redo until you feel like it.
This is completely normal. Natural henna always begins light and deepens over 24 to 48 hours. Give it a day before judging the shade.
Typically [2 to 4 weeks]. It fades slowly and evenly as your nails grow, with no chipping or peeling.
Yes. Innai is made from pure henna leaves with no added chemicals.
Natural henna is generally considered safe, but we always recommend checking with your doctor first, as we would with anything during pregnancy.
Skin stains fade within a few days on their own. To speed it up, gently rub the area with a little oil or exfoliate lightly. To avoid it next time, apply a thin layer of balm or oil on the skin around the nail before applying.
No. Henna needs bare nails to stain. Remove all polish before applying.
Henna cannot be wiped off like polish. It fades naturally as your nail grows. If you want it gone sooner, buffing the nail surface lightly will soften the color.
[Keep the sealed paste in a cool, dry place.] Use within [X weeks] of opening for the best color.
